Antique Etched Mold 1269 Stein, AAK1354

Maker: Unknown/Germany (probably Reinhold Merkelbach)

Size: Approximately .5 liter

Material: Fine earthenware with ornamental pewter lid.

Design: Etched decor depicts the "Alte Germanen" (old Germans referring to Germanic tribesmen) drinking, plus German text which, roughly translated, says they will "drink one more before they go". Nicely executed throughout.
