Lid: Ornamental pewter with a large eagle finial. Figural thumblift is of the U.S. crest.

Design: Central relief work on the stein depicts an eagle head holding a banner that reads "God bless America". There are also relief depictions of different flags, Mt. Rushmore, the White House, the Statue of Liberty, a fireman's hat representing 9-11, and a flying eagle with the text "The eagle soars alone".

Colors: Hand-painted multi-coloring against a cobalt blue background. It is banded top and bottom in gold.

Text: In addition to the above, a band at the bottom reads "Land of the Free, Home of the Brave".

Notes: This is a new stein imported from Germany. (We think the stein represents Albert Thewalt's personal love of the United States.)
